Why Soy?
Soy wax is derived from soy bean oil, made from 100% natural resources. Soy wax produces much less soot. The soy candle wax we use is produced from soy crops grown in the Midwest, that have not been genetically modified and contain 5% botanical oils. These resources, in return, help support the American Farmer.
Soy wax is also water soluble. Spills and remnants of wax left on the bottom of the container, after the candle has finished burning, are easily wiped clean with a little soap and hot water. Candles made with soy wax also burn cooler, cleaner-free of toxins and carcinogens, creating longer enjoyment and stronger scents.
Last but not least, soy wax is 100% biodegradable.

About Us
The Beginning of Our Journey
What started out as a craft night in January 2002, became a dream come true for Donna Trappe of owning her own business. She researched and tested to produce one of the finest soy candles you can find.
With the help of her family she began producing Beacon D’lites, one of the first soy candle manufacturers in the Hudson Valley Region. When the business grew too large to be a home based business, she opened our store in Beacon, NY on May 14, 2005. Now, my family has the pleasure of carrying on Donna's creations. As a long time customer I was thrilled to become the new owner and have Donna be as thrilled about it makes it all perfect!
Every candle we sell is hand poured with pride in Beacon, NY. With maximum scent throw, both cold and hot, we hope you will agree after trying one of our many scents and sizes.
